Water is life. The inhabitants of North Eastern Province of Kenya have no concept of clean, fresh sparkling water. These people are accustomed to drinking substandard water, recieving relief aid every month of every year not because they do not have the capability to fend for themselves but because the vagaries of nature, the demography of where they have found themselves, does not allow them the luxury to.

We intend to pull in funds to help put up a water treatment plant. This plant will use reverse osmosis to turn the saline water from the Indian Ocean into drinkable water so that these people can have water for drip irrigation, which means growing crops, fruits, vegetables and since they will have water and be able to grow all manner of food, the economy will pick up extensively as they will sell off the surplus.

When this happens, the inhabitants of this drought prone region will never again have to die because of drought, famine or hunger.

We intend to do a documentary that highlights the location of the area for the treatment plant. Once we have done a documentary, it is hoped that we would generate enough publicity to enable people of goodwill to come in and assist in putting up the treatment plant.
